Westminster Math Tutoring in Atlanta

Personalized, in-home math tutoring for students at The Westminster Schools. AnyThink identifies the gaps beneath a student’s current struggles, rebuilds their mathematical foundation step by step, and teaches them to approach unfamiliar problems independently.

Serving Westminster families in Buckhead, Chastain Park, Sandy Springs, and surrounding Atlanta communities.

Math Support for Westminster’s Rigorous Coursework

Westminster students are expected to engage deeply with challenging material, and advanced math courses can move quickly. When an earlier concept has not been fully understood, even a capable student may struggle as new material builds on top of it.

AnyThink does more than help students finish the next assignment. We determine where their understanding first broke down, reinforce the concepts underneath their current course, and help them develop methods they can carry into future mathematics classes.

Advanced Math Tutoring:

We provide tutoring across all high school and college-level mathematics, including the advanced courses offered at The Westminster Schools. Our team includes tutors with mathematics degrees and experience supporting some of Westminster’s most demanding courses, including Honors Precalculus & Introduction to Calculus, AP Calculus BC, and Honors Multivariable Calculus, as well as Georgia Tech dual-enrollment courses such as Combinatorics and Differential Equations.

Many families come to us after working with tutors who were unable to support these higher-level courses. We have taught Westminster students and understand not only how to solve the problems they encounter, but how to teach the underlying material. Our teaching methods extend well beyond high school coursework into upper-level college mathematics.

Westminster Parent and Student Testimonials

Mother of Elizabeth Reid

“We tried four Precalculus tutors before a friend introduced us to Jacob. All of the tutors before Jacob tried to teach to the AP exam, but Westminster doesn’t offer AP Precalculus, so its teachers aren’t teaching toward an exam. Pace students are in the same boat. Therefore, you need someone who can take the concepts the teacher has taught thus far and help your child not only learn them, but truly understand them so they can apply them in different scenarios on tests. Jacob is the best!”

“My entire life, I’ve had the mindset that I’m just bad at math and nothing could change that. That all changed sophmore year when Jake started tutoring me. I was a solid C plus/B minus math student who struggled with concepts that I felt as though I should have been understanding and that was so frustrating for me.

Meeting with Jake once a week changed how I felt about math for the better. I turned into an A/A+ math student and I even started to enjoy math, which was something I never thought was possible for me. As Jake got to know me and my learning style, he found the perfect way to teach me math in a way that made sense to me.

I’m forever grateful for the help Jake gave me through the past few years and I would recommend his tutoring services to anyone and everyone! The skills he taught me carried onto taking the ACT and now into college. I feel more confident than ever when doing any type of math and I wouldn’t be where I am without Jake!”
